KC Interior Design transformed this expansive 8,000 sq.ft. Olivenhain estate, set on a lush two-acre property in Encinitas. The project involved an extensive remodel of both the interior and exterior, with the goal of creating a modern, family-oriented sanctuary that balances modern lines, bohemian charm and refined sophistication. Inspired by the homeowners' eclectic taste, which includes a cherished Picasso artwork gifted by the client’s father, the design carefully combines vibrant personal touches with timeless elegance.
Every space was thoughtfully curated, from the tranquil master suite to the vibrant children’s rooms, each tailored to its inhabitants while maintaining a cohesive narrative. Natural accents, textured walls, and global influences further enrich the design, blending seamlessly with the home’s expansive outdoor spaces, which now feature a lush garden, a swing pergola, and a serene pool area.
