KC Interior Design led a full-gut renovation of this Southern California oceanfront home, transforming it into a very custom and unique retreat infused with coastal light and curated texture. Every space was stripped to its core and rebuilt with an emphasis on warmth, simplicity, and connection to the sea.
Natural materials like white oak, hand-finished plaster, and honed stone form a quiet backdrop for bespoke moments—such as a 3D-printed dining table, sculptural lighting, and layered custom millwork. The kitchen’s clean white cabinetry, floating marble shelves, and wood-edged countertops speak to both restraint and craftsmanship.
Seamless indoor-outdoor flow is achieved with large glass openings, ocean-facing seating areas, and a muted palette that mirrors the horizon. Soft contemporary furnishings, original art, and statement tilework give the home a collected, timeless presence.
This project is a meditation on simplicity, form, and light—bringing elevated ease to modern coastal living.
