We believe that if designers and clients are clear about what to expect and on the same page about what the process entails, we are all likely to enjoy it a lot more. So here is how our process works:

1. The meeting

We offer a courtesy 1 hour first meeting. This is where we evaluate our compatibility, share our experiences and learn about the scope of work. 

 

2. Programming  
This is the information gathering phase. It is when we get into details about the project, timelines, budget and expectation. This is when we get to know you and help define goals for the project. (5 - 15% of the design process)

3. Conceptual Design

Our team formulate preliminary broad-based concepts and floor plans. Design decision about character, function, and aesthetics  are presented. Including direction of color palette and space planning. (15 - 20% of the design process)

4. Design Development

This is also a creative phase. During this phase we further develop and finalize the design scheme. All furniture, fabric, finishes, fixtures, tile ans stone, hardware, and lighting are selected. We also offer 3D renders for easier visualization of the space. (25 - 30% of the design process)

 

5.  Specifications and Drawings 

Based on previous decision our team prepare the Design Drawings, specifications package and schedules that provide clear instructions to the architect and builder. (30-35% of design process)

6. Construction Administration and Furniture Installation

This is usually the most rewarding phase. All the design decisions become real as the walls are built, mechanical, electrical and lighting systems are installed; and finishes are applied. After that furniture, rugs, window treatments, art and accessories are installed. 

We oversee this phase with close eyes, to ensure items are received in good condition, installed correctly, and that documents have been followed properly. (5-15% of design process)
